Mission Mosaic
Toelke Associates designs and produces this magazine-style publication for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, a ministry of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). PDA, with both a national and global standing, wanted to take their newsletter and develop it into a high-profile publication that would appropriately report on their activities. In consultation with Toelke Associates , Mission Mosaic is the result.

Our work on this project includes:

• General and ongoing consultation to develop, design, and produce the magazine twice a year
• Visual concept and cover design, working within a flexible page and typographic design to accommodate the various types of content required in each issue
• Consultation for imaging, including providing in-house scans and image editing where appropriate
• Creation of maps and other graphics as required
• Delivery of files to printer in Louisville, review of proofs and handling any AA’s during pre-press

We work closely with PDA staff throughout the entire process, making sure that the publication reflects the requirements of the content. This demands considerable design flexibility while retaining the overall look of the publication. Mission Mosaic is budgeted on a per-page basis, with the 16-page version as the standard. The magazine generally runs between 16 and 24 pages.
