Graphic Design

A wide range of print materials and branding development projects.

In our many years of experience working with a variety of clients we’ve created a wide range of print materials as well as branding development projects. These materials have included annual reports, educational viewbooks, site brochures/visitor guides, educational curriculum guides, general promotional materials, packaging, and even game design and production. Our knowledge of print workflow (both offset and digital) and appropriate printers will get your project printed at the best cost with the best quality. Branding projects typically include logo development, typographic design, and a branding guide, all depending on the size and needs of an organization.

NEW YORK CITY JEWELRY WEEK

NYC Jewelry Week is the first and only week in the United States dedicated to promoting and celebrating the world of jewelry through educational and innovative focused programming. Since its first year in 2018, Toelke Associates has worked with New York City Jewelry Week to create custom artwork, illustrations, graphics, and even Zoom backgrounds for their programming. Pictured here is a suite of materials, which include a series of four Zoom backgrounds, a custom NYCJW illustration designed for the 2019 event’s tote bag, and an animated gif for the virtual “USA Jewelry Tour.”

ORANGE MILLS AT ALGONQUIN PARK HISTORY GUIDE

Toelke Associates worked with Milestone Heritage Consulting to design and produce an 11” × 17” folding site history and visitor guide to the Orange Mills gunpowder factory ruins complex at Algonquin Park in the Town of Newburgh, New York, for the Orange County Historian’s Office. The guide explains how the nineteenth-century gunpowder factory worked and includes a park trail map, designed by Toelke Associates, keyed to the mill ruins and waterpower system. This site map was created based on supplied references. In addition, the two sides of the guide were enlarged to create a 48” square guide housed in an on-site kiosk.

CARL SCHURZ PARK CONSERVANCY

Carl Schurz Park is home to Gracie Mansion (the mayor’s residence) on Manhattan’s upper east side. The mission of the Conservancy is to restore and beautify Carl Schurz Park, complementing the efforts of the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. The goal is to enhance the public’s enjoyment and involvement in the Park. The Conservancy organizes volunteers to execute its projects and sponsors community events that are open to all.

Through Toelke Associates’ work with the Mountain Top Arboretum, we were referred to the Carl Schurz Park Conservancy to assist with their annual 16-page Park Notes publication and other outreach items for both visitors and members, such as a site map and visitors guide, and various event invitations and fundraising appeals.

SOLAR HOT WATER FUNDAMENTALS
Siting, Design, and Installation

Toelke Associates worked directly with principal author Peter Skinner to develop, design, and produce this 208-page full-color manual. This highly-detailed manual is filled with hundreds of custom schematics and photographs, as well as many tables and other technical information, and is wire bound for a lay-flat presentation. Highly formatted on almost every page, this manual required a careful layout of often disparate but necessary content in proper order. This challenging design and layout project resulted in a well-organized and engaging visual presentation of complex technical material.
